Hina Ismail Khan, a 26-year-old woman from Karachi, was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her child. This was her third pregnancy, and she had previously undergone two C-sections. Due to her medical history, her gynecologist advised an elective C-section to ensure the safety of both mother and baby and to reduce the risk of complications during childbirth. However, the cost of the C-section was overwhelming for her family.

Hina lives with her husband and one child in a modest home. Her husband works as a shopkeeper and earns only PKR 25,000 per month. With this limited income, the family hardly manages utility bills, food expenses, and other daily necessities. Due to their financial hardships, arranging money for a planned C-section was beyond their means. During this difficult time, Hina reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help. Moved by her plea, we registered her case.

Hina was admitted to the Murshid Hospital in Karachi on November 15, 2025, for her scheduled procedure. Dr. Farkhanda Saeed successfully performed the C-section, and Hina safely delivered a healthy baby boy. The surgery went smoothly, and both mother and child were kept under observation to ensure stable recovery. With appropriate post-operative care, Hina was discharged in stable condition on November 17, 2025.

Hina shared her thoughts after the delivery as follows: “I am grateful to you for making this safe delivery possible. Your support allowed proper medical care at the right time. I am recovering gradually and focusing on caring for my newborn. I sincerely appreciate the support provided to me during the time of need.”
