Success Story
Read how a free surgery funded by Transparent Hands donors transformed a patient's life.
Ayesha Khan, a 26-year-old woman from Dera Ghazi Khan, was approaching the end of her third pregnancy. Her medical history included two C-sections. Considering her history, her gynecologist recommended an elective C-section. This decision was made to ensure the safe arrival of Ayesha’s child as her pregnancy was high-risk. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery was overwhelming for her family.
Ayesha lives in a small home with her husband and two children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner of the family, is a private tutor and makes just PKR 20,000 per month. With this insufficient income, they hardly covered their routine expenses. They faced significant financial hardships and struggled to make ends meet. Affording to pay for a much-needed C-section was beyond her family’s means. During this time of need, Ayesha’s family reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help. Upon listening to their concerns, we swiftly registered her case.
On September 3, 2025, Ayesha was admitted to the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust Hospital in Multan. The same day, her C-section was successfully performed by Dr. Bushra Khan. The surgery went smoothly, and Ayesha gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Ayesha received proper post-operative care and was discharged in satisfactory condition on September 5, 2025.
Ayesha’s heart was filled with gratitude and relief when she held her newborn daughter for the first time. The surgery not only ensured her safety but also brought happiness and hope to her entire family. Ayesha expressed her heartfelt gratitude as follows:
“I can’t describe my happiness in words. I’m truly grateful to you for making my surgery possible. With your support, I safely delivered my daughter. Your support gave me strength during one of the most challenging times of my life, and I will always remember your kindness.”
Ayesha is now recovering well and cherishing every moment with her baby girl. Both mother and child are in good health, and her family is deeply thankful to you for your generosity that made this safe delivery possible.
