Sabiha Riaz, a 40-year-old woman from Karachi, was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her child. With a medical history of one C-section, Sabiha was fully aware of the risks associated with her pregnancy. During a routine antenatal visit, Sabiha’s gynecologist carefully reviewed her medical records and current condition. After a thorough examination, the doctor advised a planned C-section for childbirth. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgical procedure was far beyond what Sabiha’s family could afford. She lives in a modest home with her husband and two young daughters. On December 8, 2025, Sabiha was admitted to the Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Dr. Farkhanda Saeed performed the C-section, and Sabiha safely gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She was kept under close post-operative observation and discharged in stable condition on December 10, 2025.
