Noreen Bibi, a 35-year-old woman from Jhang, had been struggling with low back pain for the past month. The discomfort made walking and performing simple household tasks increasingly difficult. Along with the pain, she experienced constant weakness and fatigue, which affected her ability to care for her three young children. Concerned about her condition, Noreen consulted a doctor who recommended an X-ray and some laboratory tests to diagnose her condition. However, the cost of these diagnostic tests, medicines, and follow-up visits was beyond her means.
Noreen lives in a modest rented home with her husband and three school-going children. Her husband works as a driver, earning just PKR 50,000 per month. A significant portion of his income is spent on essential household expenses, leaving little room for medical costs. On August 4, 2025, Noreen underwent diagnostic tests at Lahore Care Hospital. Dr. Talha Bin Ayub supervised her case. After evaluation, Noreen was diagnosed with Sciatica. It is a condition caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve, leading to pain, weakness, and limited mobility. She was prescribed medications along with a structured follow-up plan to help her recover from Sciatica.
Over the course of her treatment, she gradually regained her ability to walk comfortably and perform household tasks with ease.
