Success Story
Read how a free surgery funded by Transparent Hands donors transformed a patient's life.
Bakhtawar Hussain, a 24-year-old woman from Multan, was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her third child. Her pregnancy was categorized as high-risk due to a previous history of C-section delivery. Attempting a natural delivery could cause various complications. During her routine check-ups, her doctor advised a C-section as the safest option for childbirth, considering her medical history. However, her family could not afford the advised C-section.
Bakhtawar lives in a modest home with her husband and two young children. She is a housewife, while her husband works as a laborer, earning approximately PKR 25,000 per month. This modest income is barely sufficient to manage household essentials such as food, rent, and utilities, leaving no possibility of affording the cost of surgery. During this challenging time, Bakhtawar contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help. Moved by their plea, we registered her case.
On April 10, 2026, Bakhtawar was admitted to the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. The C-section was performed on the next day by Dr. Humaira Imran, who successfully delivered a healthy baby boy. The procedure was completed without complications. Bakhtawar remained in the hospital for post-delivery care and was discharged in stable condition on April 13, 2026.
Bakhtawar shared her joy as follows:
“I was extremely worried about my C-section as I had nowhere else to turn. Your support came at the perfect time. After the C-section, I feel peaceful and grateful that everything went smoothly. I am truly thankful to you for helping make this safe C-section possible.”
Today, Bakhtawar Hussain is recovering well and enjoying precious moments with her newborn son.
Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to you for supporting her C-section.
