Afshana Nazeer, a 27-year-old woman from Khanewal, was eagerly awaiting the birth of her third child. During her pregnancy, she attended regular medical checkups to monitor her health and the baby's development. The doctor carefully evaluated her condition and advised a C-section. Since Afshana had already undergone two previous C-sections, attempting a normal delivery could have placed both her and her baby at serious risk. However, the cost of the C-section was beyond Afshana's family's financial means.

She is a housewife and lives in a rented home with her husband and their two children. Her husband works at a hospital and earns only PKR 25,000 per month. His modest income is used to cover rent, food, utility bills, children's daily needs, and other household expenses, leaving no room to manage the cost of the delivery. On June 10, 2026, Afshana was admitted to the Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. Her C-section was successfully performed by Dr. Sobia Ishaque on June 11, 2026. The procedure went smoothly, and Afshana safely delivered a healthy baby girl. Following post-operative care and observation, both mother and daughter remained in stable condition. Afshana was discharged on June 13, 2026.
