Medical Camp
Learn about this Transparent Hands free medical camp providing healthcare to underserved communities in Pakistan.
Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Tri-Pack Film Limited, recently organized a Hepatitis B & C Screening and Awareness Camp to extend quality healthcare services to underprivileged communities. The camp was held on August 27, 2025, at Tri-Pack Film Limited, North Western Industrial Zone, Port Qasim, Karachi. We provided free screenings and consultations for early detection of Hepatitis and to raise awareness about its prevention and management among the local population.
Free Consultations & Diagnostic Tests
At the camp, a total of 112 deserving patients benefited from free consultations and Hepatitis B & C screenings. The services were provided to ensure early detection and timely guidance for patients who lacked access to such essential medical support.
Preventive Healthcare Session
In addition to screenings, a preventive healthcare session was held by our expert doctor. The session focused on the causes, prevention, and management of Hepatitis B & C. It empowered attendees with practical knowledge about protecting their health and reducing the risks associated with these life-threatening infections.
Impact
The camp created a meaningful impact by providing 112 patients with free hepatitis B&C screenings and awareness. These patients received timely screenings. Early detection can prevent severe complications like chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. The attendees also benefited from the preventive healthcare session that equipped them with easy-to-understand knowledge about hepatitis.
