Transparent Hands is Helping 100,000 Flood Victims Who Await Urgent Medical Care & Food
This year's floods have claimed innumerable lives, destroyed around 300,000 homes, and affected over 33 million people across Pakistan. Almost a third of the country is likely to be inundated due to the unprecedented floods.
The displaced people are looking for shelter, food, and medical care. Since the prevalence of diseases increases in flood-affected areas due to the lack of clean water and sanitation, Transparent Hands is arranging free medical camps in some of the most impacted parts of the country. We are also providing bags of food to thousands of starving flood victims. Our free medical camps and food distribution program will cost around PKR 37,964,000/- or USD 168,027/-.

Our aim is to support around 100,000 flood victims through our medical camps and food distribution program. We will provide 4,810 food packs and the following healthcare services to the flood victims in Sindh, KPK & South Punjab.

We are planning to start our medical camps from the first week of September 2022 in KPK, Sindh, and South Punjab. A team of over 100 volunteers and staff members of Transparent Hands will carry out these flood relief efforts.
